[ applause ] (male announcer): live from the bay area this is the kron 4 morning news. makron 4 news at 4:00 a.m. starts now believe it is wednesday november 14, 2012 to a live look at san francisco. clear skies as the mock up continues. will the quick check of our forecast with erica in a few minutes. >> we begin with the massive flooding in daly city. winner of the reservoir ruptured that sent 45,000 gal. of water down hill. it affected for blocks. the pipe had been in use since the early 1930's. no homes were flooded but 12 homes were evacuated as a precaution. there is no report of injuries. >> cleanup started immediately yesterday morning. as of last night they are putting the finishing touches on the massive cleanup. four streets were flooded. it took time to dig the cars out. here is what residents in the area had to say. >> i was like wow. it cleared out quickly. by 5:00 all the cars on the left side in the mud was gone. i thought it would be longer. i'm sure it would be longer to assess what happened spirit that park is gone. >> has some as i step

canceled altogether. let us to look at our forecast we have conditions that are changing. cool in just a bit. let us touch base on the northeaster to. to you james b. beam i want to bring it up on satellite and radar. a system with these conditions and of this magnitude is not really much of a concern. because you do remember hurricane sandy was just about one week ago we are also saying that conditions still along the coastal front. the size of the storm is not too impressive. again they are seeing wang and wrecks now. the new york city area accumulated up to 6 in.. it looks like the system is moving out of the area. the possibility for down trees, power lines, shutdowns of some of the transport quotation systems exist. it looks like the storm surge could reach 3 ft. later today. that is nothing compared to the did conditions we saw for what was hurricane sandy. winds that gusted up to 60 mi. per hour yesterday. we are tracking the effect of the storm on the east coast. we will monitor this the route the morning. . let us take it over to bay area weather. taking it out side to our mou
